  《中國高科技中小企業(yè)技術合作戰(zhàn)略與管理的實證研究》以交易成本、競爭力和企業(yè)資源觀為基礎理論研究了企業(yè)間技術合作領域中的若干問題。以高科技中小企業(yè)為研究對象,回答了為什么高科技中小企業(yè)參與企業(yè)間技術合作活動,他們傾向于采用怎樣的合作方式,企業(yè)間技術合作對技術創(chuàng)新有怎樣的影響,以及企業(yè)間技術合作的成功要素有哪些等問題。該研究采用隨機抽樣問卷調(diào)查和經(jīng)理人訪談方式獲取關于企業(yè)間合作戰(zhàn)略制定與實施的第一手資料,被調(diào)查企業(yè)來自濟南、青島和威海三個國家級高科技開發(fā)區(qū)。為控制行業(yè)外生變量的影響,樣本企業(yè)框定在信息與通信行業(yè),該行業(yè)為目前中國成長最快和出口貢獻最大的行業(yè)之一?!  吨袊呖萍贾行∑髽I(yè)技術合作戰(zhàn)略與管理的實證研究》的研究結論顯示,總體來說企業(yè)間技術合作能促進企業(yè)績效,這與高科技中小企業(yè)開展合作的初衷相一致。然而,合作并不能給較小企業(yè)的技術創(chuàng)新帶來顯著影響,可見處于創(chuàng)建初期且規(guī)模較小的企業(yè)并不是合作創(chuàng)新的主要受益者。高科技中小企業(yè)參與技術合作的動機具有多樣性和重疊性.主要動機有:進入新的市場、獲取規(guī)模/范圍經(jīng)濟性、實現(xiàn)技術轉移以及向合作伙伴學習。合作方式的選擇多集中于:客戶—供應商之間的研發(fā)合同、企業(yè)間聯(lián)合研發(fā)協(xié)議以及合資創(chuàng)建新企業(yè)。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),企業(yè)參與合作的主要動機和方式與企業(yè)的規(guī)模及經(jīng)營年限有關。企業(yè)的規(guī)模越大,企業(yè)表現(xiàn)出越強的技術轉移和向合作伙伴學習的合作動機,而且越傾向于采用合資企業(yè)的合作方式。經(jīng)營年限較長的企業(yè)比新建企業(yè)更傾向于通過合資企業(yè)促進技術創(chuàng)新。在決定企業(yè)是否參與合作的眾多影響因素中,企業(yè)規(guī)模是唯一的顯著性影響因素,其原因可解釋為規(guī)模賦予企業(yè)資源能力,企業(yè)只有在擁有互補性資源的情況下,合作關系才是互利的,由此才能在特定時間框架內(nèi)建立平等的、穩(wěn)定的合作關系。被調(diào)查企業(yè)的資料顯示資源互補性、基于信任的交流和互惠、履行對合作的許諾是取得合作成功的三大最基本要素,有著成功合作經(jīng)驗的企業(yè)與其他企業(yè)相比較表現(xiàn)出對“信任、交流和互惠”更多的關注。

Chapter 1 : IntroductionThis thesis is an empirical study of inter-firm technological cooperation in high technology small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in China. The study ex-plores how high-tech SMEs cooperate with partner firms for the sake of technologi-cal innovation. The empirical investigation in China's high-tech SMEs was conduc-ted to test proposed hypotheses and address derivative research questions. The ob-jective is to contribute both to business management and policy-makers' decision-making, and also to academic research by providing new insight into the bases of inter-firm cooperative activities intended to increase innovation.1.1  Background of the StudyWhile resourced-based firms have their core capabilities, it is impossible for a small firm to house all the resources necessary for product innovation. SMEs are resource constrained to a higher extent compared with their larger counterparts. It is argued that cooperating with partner firms can bring SMEs the competitive force which a small firm can never achieve by itself. Studies of inter-firm cooperation have been well documented among large firms, especially multinational compa-nies. However, far less attention has been paid to SMEs. The role of high-tech SMEs has attracted researchers' attention in recent decades, and theoretical and empirical studies in this field have become more popular than ever before.
