Topic to Discuss 1. The advantages of traveling by plane are that you can get to any faraway city withina few hours or visit another country within a day or so. It is time saving, fast andcomfortable. But at the same time traveling by air is much more expensive thantraveling by other forms of transport and people think that it is not very safe,although annual reports on accidents show that the number of air crashes are far lessthan that of road accidents. Anyway if you are in a hurry, choose the plane. 3. The greatest change in Chinese peoples attitude towards traveling is that they seekfor speed and more comfort. Traveling by plane is becoming more common inChina. People realize that time is too valuable to waste, and prefer to spend a bitmore to get to their destination as quickly as possible. 5. Today the majority of Chinese people still travel by train. There has been greatimprovement in railway transportation in recent years. There are more air-condi-tioned carriages with comfortable seats. Speed has also been increased many timesin recent years. Another popular way of traveling is by coach. While there were onlyone or two buses going to different places ten years ago, you will now find the busterminals crowded with buses of all kinds there to carry you to any place you mightwish to go to.
