視聽(tīng)說(shuō)英語(yǔ)教程

前言

　　經(jīng)過(guò)幾年的快速發(fā)展，我國(guó)教育已進(jìn)入高等教育大國(guó)的行列，按照黨的十七大精神，向建設(shè)人力資源強(qiáng)國(guó)邁進(jìn)。數(shù)以千萬(wàn)計(jì)的學(xué)生在各級(jí)、各類高等學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)各種知識(shí)和培養(yǎng)能力，為成為社會(huì)主義的建設(shè)者和新時(shí)期的應(yīng)用型人才而努力。高等教育從“精英化”到“大眾化”的轉(zhuǎn)變，除了數(shù)量的擴(kuò)大外，必須在培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)、教學(xué)內(nèi)容、教學(xué)方法、教材等方面進(jìn)行改革，以適應(yīng)培養(yǎng)不同類型人才和不同類型高校的教學(xué)需要?！　—?dú)立學(xué)院自開(kāi)辦以來(lái)，在教學(xué)各方面，特別是教材基本沿用了普通本科的教學(xué)資源，這給特色教育和定向教學(xué)帶來(lái)了諸多不便，難以達(dá)到教委設(shè)定的教學(xué)目的。有鑒于此，我們?cè)凇胺?wù)于地方，培養(yǎng)應(yīng)用型人才”這一總的目標(biāo)指導(dǎo)下，組織了一批教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富、致力于教學(xué)改革研究、在相關(guān)課程方面有較深造詣的教師，按教育部的教育培養(yǎng)規(guī)劃，編寫(xiě)了這套適合獨(dú)立學(xué)院本科教學(xué)的系列教材，旨在有針對(duì)性地培養(yǎng)應(yīng)用型高等學(xué)歷人才，因此我們稱這套教材為“普通高校應(yīng)用型人才培養(yǎng)規(guī)劃教材”?！　∥覀兙帉?xiě)這套教材的基本思想是：對(duì)基本原理、基本理論，重在結(jié)論和應(yīng)用。理論部分遵循教學(xué)大綱，不求深入全面，但求適用，對(duì)相關(guān)理論做必要的引介。書(shū)中編列了較多的例子和習(xí)題，增加了學(xué)生自我訓(xùn)練、獨(dú)立解題的素材，期望幫助學(xué)生加深對(duì)理論知識(shí)的理解和應(yīng)用。我們力求這套叢書(shū)在內(nèi)容結(jié)構(gòu)上既區(qū)別于傳統(tǒng)本科教材，又不同于高職高專教材。在理論知識(shí)方面既有一定的系統(tǒng)性，也兼顧了現(xiàn)代性；既注重知識(shí)間的邏輯性，也突出了知識(shí)的應(yīng)用性；在夠用、實(shí)用、適用的前提下，還編入一些有深度知識(shí)的鏈接，供要求進(jìn)一步提高的學(xué)生自學(xué)之用。本套教材在文字上力求準(zhǔn)確易懂，適當(dāng)增加例圖，有較好的可讀性，便于學(xué)生自學(xué)。　　由于我們的水平有限，書(shū)中難免出現(xiàn)一些問(wèn)題，敬請(qǐng)各位教師和廣大學(xué)生給予細(xì)心的指正和熱情的幫助。在此，對(duì)于大力支持這套教材出版發(fā)行的經(jīng)濟(jì)科學(xué)出版社也一并表示真誠(chéng)的感謝。

內(nèi)容概要

本教材內(nèi)容可安排96學(xué)時(shí)，為期8周時(shí)間完成。具體做法是：每周12學(xué)時(shí)，其中視聽(tīng)6學(xué)時(shí)，視說(shuō)4學(xué)時(shí)，語(yǔ)音2學(xué)時(shí)。該學(xué)時(shí)安排的框架在使用過(guò)程中可根據(jù)各校具體情況自行調(diào)整。    編寫(xiě)者均為視聽(tīng)、視說(shuō)、語(yǔ)音課的任課教師，通過(guò)實(shí)踐，他們積累了較豐富的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。而本教材正是各位教師教學(xué)理念、教學(xué)方法、教學(xué)研究的集體結(jié)晶。

　　1. Background knowledge　　What is confidence？ What is the correct attitude toward confidence？　　Confidence is a kind of feeling that you think you are capable of doing something successfully. It can make you optimistic and pleased. It may be a plus for you to enjoy doing things and enjoy your life. But confidence does not mean you are better than others in whatever aspects or wherever places， that is not confidence but craziness， which might bring a terrible hazard to the human society as well as to oneself.　　As we all know， confidence is closely related to ones success. So many people tend to be very confident of themselves. But， sometimes too much confidence or blind confidence would lead you astray. If you want to be successful， the first thing you should do is to be confident of yourself by analyzing your strength and weakness respectively. Then you should know how to overcome your shortcomings by such ways as reasonable analysis， exposure to your friends to seek help， learning from or receiving others merits so as to make yourself even more confident. Are there any other ways to make you confident？ Surely， there are. You can get to them through the listening practice.
