　　《專業(yè)英語(機械類)》主要包括4篇內容，共12章60個單元。第l篇為工程材料，概括介紹了工程材料及測試、鋼鐵材料、鋼的熱處理、表面處理、合金鋼及有色金屬材料等。第2篇為鑄造、鍛壓和焊接，介紹了金屬毛坯成形常用方法以及一些現(xiàn)代成形工藝和方法，如鑄造、鍛壓和焊接的基本理論和工藝知識。第3篇為機械原理和零件設計，主要介紹了機械原理中的自由度、機構等基本知識及概念，以及凸輪和齒輪機構基本原理和知識；還介紹了零件設計中的基本步驟和要求，以及緊固和軸承等機械零件設計的基本知識、要點和步驟。第4篇為金屬的機械加工，重點介紹了金屬切削基本知識、機床、車床、組合機床及自動化、cnc以及cad／cam、cifm和aac等基礎內容。
