內(nèi)容概要

　　《石油高等教育“十一五”規(guī)劃教材：石油工程專業(yè)英語應(yīng)用》中的英語科技文章皆精選自原版英文資料。與一般專業(yè)英語教材在課文后列示生詞表的作法不同，本書對學(xué)生可能陌生的生詞、專業(yè)術(shù)語采用括注中文注釋的方式。這樣一方面可以節(jié)省篇幅，突出主體內(nèi)容；另一方面可使讀者閱讀更為方便和流暢，達(dá)到趣味盎然的閱讀效果。書中所涉及的專業(yè)知識(shí)都是基礎(chǔ)性的，不會(huì)因?yàn)閷I(yè)知識(shí)的難度而影響學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，但這些專業(yè)知識(shí)也不應(yīng)當(dāng)是科普類型的，而這正是當(dāng)前一些專業(yè)英語教材的不足之處。本書編著者認(rèn)為科普文章與真正的專業(yè)論文差距較大，不能完全滿足專業(yè)英語教學(xué)的要求。另外需要說明的是，本書目錄中標(biāo)有符號*者為編著者特別推介的，文風(fēng)簡潔優(yōu)美、表述規(guī)范的文章，可作為英語科技論文寫作學(xué)習(xí)模仿的范文。
