葉永青認(rèn)為，藝術(shù)是與生命相似的痛苦和甘美混合在一起的東西，同時也是證明生活充滿問題的一種方式。藝術(shù)家既是歷史變遷、社會劇情、日常史詩的旁觀者也是偶而參與的演員。既是"社會人",亦是"藝術(shù)人"。它的旁白和含蓄的批判往往引導(dǎo)著觀眾的思路，它是不生效的藝術(shù)家、語言者和社會行為的批判家。

作者簡介

葉永青(1958- )出生于昆明，1982年畢業(yè)于四川美術(shù)學(xué)院繪畫系，現(xiàn)任四川美術(shù)學(xué)院教授。曾在北京、上海、新加坡、英國倫敦、德國慕尼黑、德國奧格斯堡、美國西雅圖等地舉辦個展。參與重要聯(lián)展：1989年中國現(xiàn)代藝術(shù)大展；1991年中國當(dāng)代藝術(shù)文獻(xiàn)資料展；1992年“92中國油畫藝術(shù)展”、廣州“首屆九十年代藝術(shù)雙年展”；1993年香港、澳大利亞“后89中國新藝術(shù)展”；1994年北京“中國藝評家年度提名展”；1996年德國“中國！”、北京“首屆學(xué)術(shù)邀請展”、“首屆上海美術(shù)雙年展”；2000年北京“20世紀(jì)中國油畫大展”；2002 年廣州“中國藝術(shù)三年展”；2003年北京“開放時代”展。作品被中國美術(shù)館等藝術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)收藏。
