　　《文化透視英語(yǔ)教程》是一套以英美文化為切入點(diǎn)的英語(yǔ)綜合技能訓(xùn)練教程。 該教程采用單元式教學(xué)，每個(gè)單元圍繞一個(gè)文化專題，所選的課文往往從不同的角度、在不同的層面上對(duì)同一專題展開(kāi)討論。 每個(gè)單元包含了(Close Reading，F(xiàn)urther Reading，Listening和Writing四大部分。 Close Reading以訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的閱讀理解能力為目標(biāo)，并配有一定數(shù)量的有關(guān)詞匯、語(yǔ)法和句型的練習(xí)。 Further Reading的第一篇?jiǎng)t從另外一個(gè)角度對(duì)同一文化專題展開(kāi)探討，可作為泛讀材料或供教師在課堂上組織對(duì)該文化專題討論時(shí)使用；第二篇?jiǎng)t可作為訓(xùn)練學(xué)生快速閱讀能力的教材。 Listening含有一篇聽(tīng)力材料和一部推薦電影。部分聽(tīng)力材料選自美國(guó)人對(duì)某一文化專題進(jìn)行討論時(shí)的錄音。推薦的電影除了內(nèi)容梗概外，還有配套的討論題，可以作為視聽(tīng)說(shuō)訓(xùn)練的材料。 Writing含有一篇閱讀材料和配套的寫(xiě)作練習(xí)。遵照循序漸進(jìn)的原則，寫(xiě)作練習(xí)設(shè)置為從單句到段落，再到整篇短文的寫(xiě)作訓(xùn)練。 本套教程共含6冊(cè)，每?jī)?cè)各有16個(gè)單元，《文化透視英語(yǔ)教程(1)》為第一冊(cè)。
