作者簡介

比爾?克林頓（BillClinton）是美國第四
十二任總統(tǒng)。1946年出生在美國南部的阿肯
色州。他小時(shí)候家境貧寒，出生前父親已去世，
由經(jīng)營一家小雜貨鋪的祖父撫養(yǎng)長大。曾入華
盛頓喬治?敦大學(xué)攻讀外交政策，1967年留
學(xué)英國牛津大學(xué)，1970年又入耶魯大學(xué)，1973
年畢業(yè)后回家鄉(xiāng)阿肯色州工作。
他1976年通過競(jìng)選擔(dān)任該州的首席檢察
官，1978年和1982年曾兩次當(dāng)選阿肯色州州
長，任總統(tǒng)前已擔(dān)任該州州長長達(dá)十二年之
久。他的對(duì)外政策的核心是美國應(yīng)該在國際上
發(fā)揮更大的“領(lǐng)導(dǎo)作用”，對(duì)內(nèi)政策的重點(diǎn)是解
決經(jīng)濟(jì)問題。
比爾?克林頓的妻子希拉里?克林頓
（HilaryClint0n）畢業(yè)于耶魯大學(xué)法律系，是一
位有名望的律師。
