Kapitza, is now an independent branch of theoretical physics. Its importance is in fact measured not so much by even the remarkable phenomena that occur in the liquid isotopes of helium as by the fact that the concepts of a quantum liquid and its spectrum are essentially the foundation for the quantum description of macroscopic bodies. ...
