《快樂美語聽力》分上、下兩冊。針對不同層次聽力水平的學生，每冊書在訓練和內容上均各有側重。本書為《快樂美語聽力》上冊，共32個單元。它具有如下特點：    1、本書編寫以語音為線，旨在為初級語言學習者打下很好的語音基礎，掌握英語音素的發(fā)音要領，在語音博士的幫助下，通過繞口令、腦筋急轉彎、詩歌、歌曲等豐富的形式，在充滿快樂和富有趣味的意境中學習英語發(fā)音，并同時掌握英語語音的基本拼寫規(guī)則。    2、各單元的語言材料體裁多樣，有幽默、笑話、文化背景介紹、典故、英文詩歌及英文歌曲欣賞，所有材料均為精心挑選，形式生動活潑，使學習者能在輕松、愉快的語音環(huán)境中體驗異國文化，開闊語言視野，增強語言學習興趣。    3、每個單元中的“快樂美語對對碰”這個小欄目是專門為語言學習的交際目的而設計的，通過在機場、在郵局等情景的提供，為學習者創(chuàng)造模仿使用語言的機會，重點突出語言使用的真實性和社會功能性，力求使讀者能夠學有所用。    4、各單元的最后均配有一句英語諺語，并力求體現(xiàn)本單元的音素發(fā)音特點。知識在于積累，希望學習者能在英、漢諺語的對比中，發(fā)現(xiàn)英語學習的樂趣，并能為日后所用。    5、本書各單元的題目均來自其所包含的語言材料，在讀完各單元之后，留給讀者您一個任務，您能找出各題目中反映本單元音素的字母或字母組合發(fā)音嗎？    6、本叢書適用性強，既適合在校的不同年級的學生，又適用于水平不一的英語愛好者。
