內(nèi)容概要

　　《學習指導與訓練應(yīng)用英語（第1冊）》是針對中專學生的實際學習需要，注重基礎(chǔ)性和拓展性，突出主體性，強調(diào)實用性的一套英語教材，2008年由蘇州大學出版社第一次出版。2010年，根據(jù)最新頒行的《中等職業(yè)學校英語教學大綱》的要求，緊密結(jié)合中等職業(yè)學校英語教學實際和培養(yǎng)目標，編寫組對《應(yīng)用英語》進行了全面調(diào)整修訂，并編寫了教學配套用書《學習指導與訓練》?！秾W習指導與訓練》汲取了“目標教學”等教學法的精髓，采用“講練結(jié)合，以練為主”的模式，實行精講與多練的有機結(jié)合。　　《學習指導與訓練應(yīng)用英語（第1冊）》練習都是以speaking和Reading為基礎(chǔ)加以設(shè)計題目，并結(jié)合了每單元的語法要點，采用階梯式布局，難易結(jié)合。題目的設(shè)置以讓學生“題題有所得，課課有收獲”為原則，采用分層訓練的方式，在注重基礎(chǔ)知識和基本技能的同時，根據(jù)新大綱的新要求特別強調(diào)了知識的綜合運用與創(chuàng)新探究。在閱讀理解這一項，特別注鶯了選材，由淺入深，選材新穎、有趣，以切實提高學生的閱讀興趣和閱讀能力?？偠灾?，本套習題的主要功能不只是讓學生鞏固和消化課堂上所學的基本知識、基本技能，更重要的是能讓學生在練習的過程中去接觸、歸納、掌握和運用解決問題的方法，培養(yǎng)自己優(yōu)良的思維品質(zhì)。

　　Mr Mike was a young man. He was not very rich. One day he went into a watch shop to buy a nice-looking watch for his girl friend， Rose. He fixed his eyes on a nice golden watch， and decided to buy it. The shop assistant took the watch out， and asked for three hundred pounds for it. Just then， a boy about fifteen suddenly rushed over and grasped the watch from the assistants hand. The assistant hurried out to catch the boy. But it was too late， the boy had disappeared among the street people very quickly.　　On the way home， Mike met the boy， who would sell him the gold watch for only one hundred pounds. "The boy didnt know that I saw him stealing the watch from the shop. And he asked for much less money than that in the shop. "Mike thought to himself. So he paid the boy and took the watch home. The next day， Mike gave the golden watch to Rose， and told her all about the watch. Rose looked at the watch for a while， then， laughed loudly， "You are really a fool！ " she said， "This watch isnt worth 100 pounds at all. The assistant and the boy must have planned the whole thing together！"
