前言

  對(duì)外經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易大學(xué)出版社最新推出了大型外語(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)專(zhuān)著系列——《當(dāng)代外國(guó)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)文庫(kù)》,邀請(qǐng)我為文庫(kù)寫(xiě)序,借此機(jī)會(huì),談?wù)勎覀€(gè)人對(duì)外國(guó)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)研究的一些認(rèn)識(shí)和感受。綜觀21世紀(jì)的外國(guó)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)研究,就語(yǔ)言學(xué)研究而言,形式語(yǔ)言學(xué)理論和功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)理論繼續(xù)對(duì)抗和對(duì)話,認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)理論和社會(huì)文化理論發(fā)展迅速,各種語(yǔ)言學(xué)的理論思潮試圖從不同的角度解釋語(yǔ)言事實(shí);在應(yīng)用方面,語(yǔ)言學(xué)更加廣泛地與多學(xué)科交叉,運(yùn)用和借鑒包括數(shù)理邏輯、計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)、心理學(xué)、神經(jīng)科學(xué)、認(rèn)知科學(xué)、生態(tài)科學(xué)、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)等各學(xué)科在內(nèi)的研究成果和方法,不斷凸顯出語(yǔ)言學(xué)作為人文科學(xué)和自然科學(xué)交叉學(xué)科的地位。就文學(xué)研究而言,英美文學(xué)研究受經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化浪潮的沖擊,文學(xué)及文論研究都關(guān)注文化全球化與本土性的關(guān)系。文化全球化的研究引發(fā)了文學(xué)現(xiàn)代性、后現(xiàn)代性和后殖民性的思考。文學(xué)和語(yǔ)言學(xué)的研究相互影響和交融日益明顯,文學(xué)研究越來(lái)越多地引入語(yǔ)言學(xué)研究的方法,如話語(yǔ)分析等,反之也然。我國(guó)的外國(guó)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)研究在全球化和中國(guó)入世以后與國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)界的交流更加密切,發(fā)展更加迅速。同時(shí),我們?nèi)郧宄乜吹?,?guó)內(nèi)的外國(guó)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)研究依然存在“三張皮”現(xiàn)象:第一張皮是“漢語(yǔ)與外語(yǔ)”研究的合作與交流不夠。

  1998; Kotter & Heskett, 1992), these models and their concepts have been applied in one way or another in related studies.  Dennison and Mishras (1995) model of organizational culture has been applied extensively in business management and consultancy. By the year 2000, as Fisher and Alford (2000) reported, " Dennisons model was applied in more than 1400 companies ranging in size from 10 to 300, 000 employees, representing all ages, industries and sectors" ( p. 208 ).  A number of articles also used Dennison and Mishras ( 1995 ) model to facilitate their findings. For example, Juchter, Fisher and Alford (1998) identify five conditions for high-performance cultures associated with Dennisons (1995) model. With measuring items developed from Dermison and Mishras ( 1995 ) model, Mobley, Wang and Fang (2005) conducted a field survey on organizational culture at five multinational rums operating in China and concluded that organizational culture can be another determining source of competitive advantage. This conclusion is supportive of the rationale used in Dennisons (1995) model. Using Dennison and Mishras (1995) model as their own theoretical framework, Fey and Dennison conducted a survey in 179 companies operating both in Russia and the US in 2003 and found that "adaptability proved to be the most useful dimension in the model to understand the overall effectiveness of an organization" ( p. 701 ).
