內(nèi)容概要

　　隨著中國政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)的發(fā)展，尤其是在中國成功地舉辦了2008年第29屆奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)后，對(duì)外交往越來越多。各種訪問、招商、學(xué)術(shù)交流、國際會(huì)議、宣傳等對(duì)口譯提出更多的需求和更高的要求。本教材的編寫就是針對(duì)這種需求，為有志于從事口譯工作的各類人才提供口譯工作所需的一些基本知識(shí)和技巧。本書詳細(xì)地介紹了有關(guān)口譯的基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)，包括口譯的類型、口譯員的基本素質(zhì)、口譯筆記、數(shù)字的訓(xùn)練等。本書取材廣泛，話題涉及中國文化、體育、教育、禮儀、藝術(shù)等。此外，本書還選用了一些實(shí)戰(zhàn)材料，如領(lǐng)導(dǎo)講話、新聞發(fā)布會(huì)錄音材料等。全書共18個(gè)單元，每個(gè)單元由以下部分構(gòu)成：口譯基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)；熱身詞匯；課文；注釋；練習(xí)；譯文及練習(xí)答案；擴(kuò)展詞匯?？谧g基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)部分提供有關(guān)口譯的理論及實(shí)戰(zhàn)技巧等知識(shí)。每個(gè)單元根據(jù)不同的話題設(shè)置兩篇對(duì)話或課文，一篇為中翻英，一篇為英翻中，都配有詳細(xì)的注釋，解答翻譯中的難點(diǎn)和注意事項(xiàng)?！　「鶕?jù)每個(gè)單元不同的重點(diǎn)，練習(xí)的設(shè)置也略有不同，包括習(xí)語的翻譯，短句的翻譯和長段的翻譯等，并兼顧了中文和英文的互譯。擴(kuò)展詞匯部分提供了更多與每個(gè)單元話題相關(guān)的詞匯，并在附錄中提供了中英對(duì)照的我國和世界主要景點(diǎn)、我國政府機(jī)構(gòu)、菜品名稱等，目的是使本書還能成為使用者身邊一本快捷實(shí)用的參考書。另外，本書提供了課文譯文和練習(xí)答案，方便讀者使用。本書可作為高職高專院校商務(wù)英語、旅游英語專業(yè)的口譯教材，也可作為從事國際貿(mào)易、酒店管理、英語外事接待人員以及英語學(xué)習(xí)愛好者的口譯自學(xué)用書。本書的編者來自山東外貿(mào)職業(yè)學(xué)院，具有豐富的口譯理論知識(shí)和實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn)。其中本書的主編和副主編承擔(dān)了北京2008奧運(yùn)會(huì)青島奧帆賽期間的會(huì)談、新聞發(fā)布會(huì)、約訪、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)陪同等各類口譯任務(wù)，積累了豐富的實(shí)戰(zhàn)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

Newly served dishes are always put near the most honorable guests; when whole fish, whole chicken or whole duck is served, the dish is normally put in such a way that the head is towards the most honorable guest. This is a way to show respect to the most honorable guest.
