《醫(yī)學(xué)英語綜合教程》是在2006年出版的《醫(yī)學(xué)英語》(第一版)的基礎(chǔ)上,結(jié)合近幾年教學(xué)改革和教學(xué)實(shí)踐的需求,進(jìn)行部分修訂而成的。適用于高等醫(yī)學(xué)教育中專起點(diǎn)??平逃A段用書即“3+2”教育?! 〉诙嬷饕M(jìn)行了以下幾個(gè)方面的修訂: 1.上冊(cè)作為主教材,按140學(xué)時(shí)編寫,較第一版有壓縮,供兩學(xué)期使用。使教材更簡(jiǎn)潔、實(shí)用?! ?.上冊(cè)教材的對(duì)話、課文以及下冊(cè)的聽力材料,特邀外籍專家朗讀,制成光盤,隨書發(fā)放。以加強(qiáng)學(xué)生的聽說能力訓(xùn)練。 3.對(duì)第一版的語法知識(shí)去粗取精,保留經(jīng)典。 4.增加了四個(gè)部分的測(cè)試練習(xí)題,題型全部按當(dāng)前國內(nèi)醫(yī)學(xué)英語考核模式設(shè)立,旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語自學(xué)、自測(cè)能力?! ?.在附錄中增列基礎(chǔ)語音知識(shí)介紹,以鞏固學(xué)生的英語學(xué)習(xí)基礎(chǔ)。
內(nèi)容概要
本教材的特點(diǎn)是:以中專為起點(diǎn),由淺入深,循序漸進(jìn);題材廣泛,內(nèi)容新穎;體裁多樣,語言規(guī)范;集思想性、趣味性、針對(duì)性和實(shí)用性于一體。本教材不僅可供高等醫(yī)學(xué)院校各專業(yè)“3+2”學(xué)生使用,而且也非常適合成人醫(yī)學(xué)??圃盒!⒅袑Pl(wèi)校以及醫(yī)療衛(wèi)生行業(yè)進(jìn)行外語培訓(xùn)、業(yè)余學(xué)習(xí)之用。
全書分為上、下兩冊(cè)。上冊(cè)為主教材,用于課堂教學(xué),按148學(xué)時(shí)編寫,供兩學(xué)期使用。下冊(cè)為輔助教材,用于課堂教學(xué)的延伸、補(bǔ)充和加強(qiáng),為發(fā)揮學(xué)生的主動(dòng)性提供了個(gè)性化學(xué)習(xí)的空間。
上冊(cè)每單元設(shè)有對(duì)話、課文、詞匯表、課文注釋、語法、練習(xí)、閱讀材料和趣味英語等。為了增加教材的實(shí)用性和針對(duì)性,附錄中有漢英常用醫(yī)學(xué)研究單位名稱、常用護(hù)理術(shù)語、常用醫(yī)療器械名稱等。為了從一定程度上提高學(xué)生閱讀醫(yī)學(xué)文章的能力和醫(yī)學(xué)應(yīng)用文的寫作能力,上冊(cè)專門設(shè)有5個(gè)單元的“讀寫訓(xùn)練”內(nèi)容,這不僅突出了教材的特點(diǎn)更增強(qiáng)了教材的實(shí)用性。

Directions :This part is to test your reading ability. There are 5 tasks for you to fulfill. You should read the reading materials carefully and do the tasks as you are instructed. Started in 1636, Harvard University is the oldest of all the many colleges and universities in the United States. Yale, Princeton, Columbia and Dartmouth were opened soon after Harvard. In the early years, these school were much alike. Only young men went to college. All the students studied the same subjects, and everyone learned Latin, Greek and Hebrew. Little was known about science then, and one kind of school could teach everything that was known about the world. When the students graduated, most of them became ministers or teachers. In 1782, Harvard started a medical school for young men who wanted to become doctors. Later, lawyers could receive their training in Harvard s law school. In 1825, besides Latin and Greek, Harvard began teaching modern languages, such as French and German. Soon it began teaching American history. As knowledge increased, Harvard and other colleges began to teach many new subiects. Students were allowed to choose the subjects that interested them.
