插圖：Qi Gong，a calligrapher（書(shū)法家）in China，was born in 1912 in Beijing.When he was young， he dropped out of school because his family was poor.But Chen Yuan，a university professor， found Qi Gong was clever，and decided to teach him handwriting（書(shū)法）.Chen Yuan also helped him find jobs of teaching at several universities later.Years of hard work made Qi Gong an excellent teacher and calligrapher.Oi Gong decided in 1991 to start a foundation（基金會(huì)）to give prizes to both teachers and students who did welIin their work.Qi Gong worked day after day at his desk and made over 100 works.He sold them for 1，630，000 yuan.He has given all the money to the foundation！
