內(nèi)容概要

這是一本為高等學(xué)校成人教育而編寫的英語教材，也可作為網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育、夜大、函大、高等專科院校和高等職業(yè)院校英語教材使用，還可作為自學(xué)教材供相應(yīng)水平的英語愛好者學(xué)習(xí)使用。 本教材旨在指導(dǎo)學(xué)生深入學(xué)習(xí)課文的基礎(chǔ)上，從讀、寫、譯、聽、說等方面進(jìn)行語言操練，使學(xué)生具備較扎實(shí)的英語語言基礎(chǔ)知識、較強(qiáng)的閱讀能力和翻譯能力以及一定的聽和說的能力。 全書共有十六個單元。每個單元都設(shè)計(jì)有一個話題及兩篇閱讀文章。它們既相互關(guān)聯(lián)，又各有側(cè)重。圍繞這些與學(xué)生生活和學(xué)習(xí)息息相關(guān)的話題，教師可以安排學(xué)生討論，充分發(fā)揮學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)主動性。每個單元后還配有相關(guān)的語法知識和情景對話，幫助學(xué)生達(dá)到能夠比較熟練地應(yīng)用英語進(jìn)行交流的目的。
