大學(xué)英語口語教程

前言

　　隨著大學(xué)英語教學(xué)改革的深入，突破“啞巴英語”，解決學(xué)生開口難、交流難的現(xiàn)狀，提高學(xué)生的口語表達能力，已經(jīng)成為大學(xué)英語教學(xué)中亟待研究和探討的一個課題。要大幅度地提高口語課的教學(xué)效果和教學(xué)質(zhì)量，必須先了解學(xué)生的困難和口語教材的現(xiàn)狀。　　一、學(xué)生的困難　　理工科學(xué)生在長期重理解、輕表達的教學(xué)指導(dǎo)思想的影響下，口頭表達能力受到很大的抑制，等真正要他們開口說英語時，往往表現(xiàn)出羞于啟齒或張口結(jié)舌的癥狀。這些癥狀可以歸因于以下3個方面?！　?.缺乏語音基礎(chǔ)對于理工科學(xué)生，傳統(tǒng)的教學(xué)理論認(rèn)為沒必要、也不可能對他們進行類似于對外語專業(yè)學(xué)生所進行的那種糾音訓(xùn)練，其結(jié)果是大多數(shù)的學(xué)生（約占70％－80％）缺乏基本的語音常識。在教學(xué)中我們發(fā)現(xiàn)，許多學(xué)生不能按發(fā)音規(guī)則讀出生詞，基本元音發(fā)錯由于語音基礎(chǔ)太差，學(xué)生往往產(chǎn)生自卑感，不敢開口，從而失去“我也能說一口漂亮的英語”的自信心和學(xué)好英語的興趣；由于語音基礎(chǔ)太差，學(xué)生即使敢開口，說出的英語也不像英語，讓人聽不懂，使語言失去交流的功能。
