內(nèi)容概要

1.編寫宗旨  本教程為學(xué)生提供較系統(tǒng)的、豐富多彩的課外閱讀材料，旨在培養(yǎng)和提高學(xué)生的英語閱讀能力，擴(kuò)大學(xué)生的知識(shí)面和詞匯量，從而增進(jìn)學(xué)生的理解和欣賞水平。2.全書框架  全教程共分六冊，每冊配有一冊教師用書。  每冊分8個(gè)單元，每單元有3課，共24課。每課包括以下幾個(gè)部分：  ⑴ 課文前沒有Introduction,以便學(xué)生對課文的主要內(nèi)容和背景知識(shí)有一個(gè)大概有印象，既解決閱讀課文明遇到的部分困難，又能提高閱讀興趣。  ⑵ 注解采用邊注的形式，列出所有可能對閱讀形成障礙的單詞和詞組，用中文或英文解釋。采用邊注是為了節(jié)省時(shí)間，方便閱讀，降低難度。應(yīng)鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生邊讀邊猜詞的意思，猜不出再看邊注。詳細(xì)列出單詞和詞組的目的是使學(xué)生把列多的時(shí)間和精力轉(zhuǎn)向語言的其他方面，加強(qiáng)對課文的整體意識(shí)。部分簡單詞匯不作注解，但收入附錄的Glossary.發(fā)音相同而釋義不同的詞匯只在首次出現(xiàn)時(shí)注明音標(biāo)。  ⑶ 課文后設(shè)Reading skill,內(nèi)容包括根據(jù)上下文猜測詞義的練習(xí)和根據(jù)課文特點(diǎn)設(shè)計(jì)的、能解決本課閱讀難點(diǎn)的閱讀技能練習(xí)。安排這部分內(nèi)容是為了使學(xué)生對課文的篇章結(jié)構(gòu)及語言特點(diǎn)等有一個(gè)比較清醒的認(rèn)識(shí)，把詞語的學(xué)習(xí)與詞語的語境緊密聯(lián)系起來。  ⑷ 多項(xiàng)選擇練習(xí)的目的是引導(dǎo)學(xué)生加深對課文的理解。  ⑸ 英譯漢練習(xí)的目的是引導(dǎo)學(xué)生加深對課文的理解。  ⑹ 思考題是要鍛煉學(xué)生的分析、歸納的能力
