法律英語核心教程（第一冊）

內(nèi)容概要

本冊為第一冊，共分16個單元。其內(nèi)容涉及法學各方面的基礎知識，如法的定義、分類、淵源，法律與社會、道德、財產(chǎn)以及商務活動之間的關系，立法、司法和執(zhí)法的基本概念，法庭的構(gòu)成以及不同審判制度之間的異同，等等。每單元含三篇法律英語課文，第一篇課文為整個單元的學習重點，第二篇課文是對第一篇的深化與補充，第三篇課文由相關案例構(gòu)成，以促進學習者對本單元法律知識的領會、鞏固和應用，并提高法律英語的閱讀能力。    每一篇課文前面首先列出了本課的生詞和難詞，特別是與法律相關的詞語，然后是涉及背景知識的問答題，幫助學習者了解和預習本課的內(nèi)容；課文的正文部分每個自然段都標注了序號，以方便學習者快速查找和閱讀；正文后附有課文的長度說明，可以方便學習者掌握自己的閱讀速度。每一篇課文后附有理解課文所需的法律、社會、文化等背景知識的注釋以及課文中所涉及的部分語言要點，之后是為加強課文理解、鞏固所學知識而編寫的緊扣課文的練習題，包括閱讀理解題、詞匯和重要的短語和搭配。下一部分是綜合練習，分詞匯、語法、完型填卒、英漢互譯、課堂討論和寫作等。許多練習實際上是針對英語中的“法言法語”的練習，使學英語和學法律融為一體。練習題有多種類型，既有主觀題，也有客觀題。有些題目結(jié)合課文編寫，另外一些則不局限于課文。語法部分和寫作部分按照循序漸進的原則編寫，具有較強的指導性。第二篇和第三篇課文均為泛讀課文，其中的難詞、生詞已經(jīng)通過注釋提供了基本意義或漢語譯文。每篇文章之后都設有針對該篇文章的問答題，以檢查學習者的理解。本教程最后還給學習者提供了詞匯表，以方便查閱和復習。    本套教材未包括英語聽力的訓練，也較少涉及英語口語訓練，這是由于法律英語聽說能力的訓練要求較高，需要大量的材料，限于本教程的容量，將放在《法律英語聽說教程》中集中訓練。
