內(nèi)容概要

這套《新思維英語閱讀》教材是依據(jù)教育部新制定的《英語課程標準》編寫的。現(xiàn)代教育的基本內(nèi)涵是素質(zhì)教育，英語學習也是如此。學生學習的不僅僅是一門語言、一個交際工具，更重要的是語言還具有獲取并儲存信息、進行思維活動和認識世界的功能。因此，英語教材不應(yīng)是單純的語言教材，而應(yīng)具有豐富的教育內(nèi)涵，它應(yīng)為培養(yǎng)學生的思維能力創(chuàng)造條件和營造環(huán)境。    本教材的編寫基于以下認識：    1．知識的基礎(chǔ)就是語言，知識的心理與外部表征都以語言為媒介。所以，語言學習不僅僅是學習語言，更重要的是學習一種能力，包括獨立學習、獨立解決問題的能力。能力的基礎(chǔ)是各種學習策略。    2．語言也是一種認知能力，不僅僅靠死記硬背，還要通過大量的語言操練及綜合能力的培養(yǎng)習得而成。    3．學習者應(yīng)以有效的方式來學習具有個人意義的東西，應(yīng)提倡創(chuàng)造性思維。思維是內(nèi)容，語言是形式。培養(yǎng)用英語思維是英語學習者及英語教學的首要任務(wù)及關(guān)鍵所在，故本叢書定名為“新思維英語”。
