內(nèi)容概要

《大學英語閱讀教程》是為配合大學英語教學而編選的一套英語讀物，共四冊。    本書按題材分成10個單元，選文大多取自近年出版的英美報刊書籍，語言清新，體裁多樣，有故事、隨筆、雜感、短評、新聞報道等。在編選過程中，為確保原作的“真實性”，不隨意改動原文，不作任何文字上的“加工”。    本書的每篇選文，都配有適量的閱讀和翻譯練習?！袄斫鈾z測”，旨在提高學生語篇水平上的閱讀理解能力，確保學生對整篇文章從主題思想到重要細節(jié)以至語言難點的全面理解。        “佳句試譯”這一練習的設(shè)置，不僅著眼于為讀者提供翻譯實踐的機會，因為所選的語句，大多是文章的精髓，也是難點所在，讀者反復琢磨、玩味之余，自然會對文章有更深入的理解。    閱讀應(yīng)該是一種享受，而不該視為一種負擔。享受閱讀，尋求書中的逸趣，是學術(shù)求知的最高境界。愿本套叢書能成為當今大學生們的學習生活之友。
