學(xué)術(shù)研究經(jīng)歷
1983年畢業(yè)于北京大學(xué),留校任教,從事心理測(cè)評(píng)和人才選拔研究工作,承擔(dān)中組部和北京市委組織部第三梯隊(duì)建設(shè)選拔評(píng)估項(xiàng)目,專著《心理測(cè)驗(yàn)》曾獲北京大學(xué)青年教師科研二等獎(jiǎng) (1988),為文革后國(guó)內(nèi)首批有關(guān)心理測(cè)驗(yàn)的教科書。
1989年1月赴美國(guó)密歇根大學(xué)作訪問(wèn)學(xué)者,1991年改讀博士學(xué)位,從事認(rèn)知社會(huì)心理學(xué)研究。畢業(yè)論文《辯證思維的文化差異》獲美國(guó)密歇根大學(xué)最佳論文獎(jiǎng) (1997)。
1997年至今,任教于美國(guó)伯克利加州大學(xué),2003年獲終身教授職位。
2008年回國(guó),任教于清華大學(xué)心理學(xué)系,為復(fù)系后首任系主任。
曾承擔(dān)了中國(guó)科技部,鐵道部,國(guó)家體育總局,教育部,美國(guó)國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金, 美國(guó)國(guó)家心理健康基金會(huì), 美國(guó)國(guó)防部等多項(xiàng)研究課題。 曾任美國(guó)心理學(xué)會(huì) (APA)科學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)委員會(huì)委員及第五屆世界華人心理學(xué)家學(xué)術(shù)研討會(huì)共同主席 (2004). 獲得教育部春暉計(jì)劃, 長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者獎(jiǎng)勵(lì),2009年入選中組部海外高級(jí)人才引進(jìn)計(jì)劃(“千人計(jì)劃”)。
專著《文化心理學(xué)》為美國(guó)多所大學(xué)指定參考書 (2000).
