前言

　　彰顯以人為本的素質(zhì)教育是國家教育部頒布的《中學生英語課程標準》的顯著特色。而以人為本的素質(zhì)教育在英語課程教學中的基本體現(xiàn)之一就是要培養(yǎng)學生具有扎實的語言運用能力，即具備聽、說、讀、寫、翻譯、應考英語等方面的基本能力，并在此基礎上開發(fā)為智力，形成于智能。　　近些年來，國際經(jīng)濟合作與發(fā)展組織（Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development）為了選拔好確實有能力的語言人才，（以便于在紛繁的國際事務和日?；顒又袦蚀_進行語言交流，避免因語言互譯失真造成的障礙和損失）在共同協(xié)商后確認的目前世界上最具有權威性的“國際學生學習評估大綱”（Programme for International Student Assessment）中，也十分重視被選人才在語言方面的上述能力、智力和智能。　　編撰這本《中考英語小題狂做？首字母填空&任務型閱讀》，其目的在于，這兩種題型的習題對學生而言盡管存在著一定難度，是應試過程中常感到較為棘手、失分較多的題目，但卻更有益于學生在訓練過程中融會貫通、綜合運用所學的英語知識，能切實有效地促進學生英語能力、智力和智能的提升，實為應運而生矣?！　榇?，在選擷資料時，編者突出強調(diào)了學生的主動體驗性和英語實驗性。在要求限時完成的練習題中，注重了輸入的語言信息（Language put-in）的質(zhì)和量——既考慮到與學生現(xiàn)有的教材和語言水平相同步，也考慮到學生在練習過程中英語能力的拓展與延伸。　　在話題（topic）的安排上，編者遵循了深入淺出、興趣廣泛、知識寬博、與時俱進的原則。所涉及的話題有：人物、動物、生理心理健康教育、傳統(tǒng)文化習俗、當今熱門時事、人類環(huán)境保護、現(xiàn)代科普知識等方面的實例。目錄中還標明了每篇話題的關鍵詞（key words），以便學校師生進行有針對性的訓練。　　本書結構清晰，共分為四章。第一、二兩章分別以“任務型閱讀”和“首字母填空”的解題方法為主線，深入細致地解析這兩種題型命題的特點，涉及的知識、解題的方法和應具備的能力。在每章開頭，配有“水平測試”部分，讓學生先進行自我評估，了解自己的真實水平；在每章后面還配有10篇“牛刀小試”，供學生進一步了解、熟悉該題型的解法。第三章為“實戰(zhàn)演練篇”，共有43個單元（Unit）。第四章為“能力提升篇”，共有27個單元（Unit）。三、四兩章中的每個單元都安排了一篇“任務型閱讀”和一篇“首字母填空”，通常根據(jù)篇幅長短要求學生在15~20分鐘之內(nèi)完成。　　編者認為學生的應試能力是學生個人綜合素質(zhì)培養(yǎng)過程中不可忽視的一個方面。本書精選的英語能力訓練題具有很好的時效性、典型性、針對性，內(nèi)容設置與中考同步，能幫助考生把握中考脈搏，提高應試能力，有利于考生厚積薄發(fā)，自信應戰(zhàn)，戰(zhàn)而勝之，考出理想的好成績！　　為此，我們廣泛調(diào)研，認真聽取各方建議，邀請了一批經(jīng)驗豐富的一線名師參與了本書的編寫工作，同時，我們也重視試題的層次性，合理調(diào)控綜合程度，實現(xiàn)多角度多層次的考查?！　∵@本《中考英語小題狂做？首字母填空&任務型閱讀》的成功靠的是團隊的力量，借此機會，我們向所有參與編寫的老師們表示衷心的感謝！同時也預祝選用我們教材的老師和同學們不斷成功！　　恩波教育研究中心
