　　《英語語言學基礎教程》系統(tǒng)性、科學性和可行性；強調(diào)基礎知識和基本技能，注重內(nèi)容的重點與難點。突出編寫語言的簡潔流暢、清楚規(guī)范。突出內(nèi)容的趣味性和可讀性；注重選材的實用性和新穎性。突出教材容量適度，適合地方本科院校英語專業(yè)學生學習。突出編寫力求從具體到抽象、從特殊到一般、從演繹到歸納、變枯燥為趣味、變復雜為簡單。突出習題設計重點考察基礎知識、基本技能和實踐應用能力，形式多樣化，選題多元化。

作者簡介

　　王揚，男，四川成都人，重慶三峽學院外國語學院院長、教授、碩士生導師。西南大學（語言學與現(xiàn)代英語方向）碩士課程班畢業(yè)，先后到北京大學英語系、美國Community Collegeof Denver研究訪學?，F(xiàn)為學校黨委委員、首批學科帶頭人、首屆教學名師、中國語言教育研究會常務理事、西部地區(qū)外語教育研究會常務理事、中國認知語言學研究會理事、中國語用學研究會會員、重慶市外文學會常務理事、重慶市翻譯學會常務理事、重慶市莎士比亞研究會常務理事、重慶市大學教學研究會理事、重慶市高等學校外語學科高級職稱評審委員會委員。主要研究方向：語用學、語義學、認知語言學、英語教育。發(fā)表學術論文100余篇；出版專著《多維視野中的語言研究》，主編《外國語言文學研究》等學術著作5部；主編《普通語言學基礎應用與實踐》等教材3本；主持國家“十一五”規(guī)劃項目、教育部科研項目，全國基礎教育外語教學研究資助重點項目，重慶市高等教育教學改革研究重點項目，重慶市哲學社會科學研究項目，重慶市教育科學“十一五”規(guī)劃高?？蒲许椖?，重慶市教委人文社會科學研究項目等1 0余項；主研有國家社科基金項目、教育部項目、重慶市級各類項目10余項。
