主要取材于90年代以后國(guó)外的30余種最新材料。內(nèi)
容廣泛，語(yǔ)言現(xiàn)象豐富。內(nèi)容涉及基本邏輯元件，數(shù)
字計(jì)算機(jī)，CISC及RISC中央處理單元，存儲(chǔ)器的層
次結(jié)構(gòu)，輸入與輸出接口，操作系統(tǒng)，程序設(shè)計(jì)，數(shù)
據(jù)庫(kù)，并行處理，數(shù)據(jù)的完整性與安全性，計(jì)算機(jī)網(wǎng)
的結(jié)構(gòu)與協(xié)議，多媒體，人工智能，圖像處理，寬帶
通信，ISDN及B－ISDN，ATM，衛(wèi)星通信，光纖通信，
移動(dòng)通信及SDH等。所選內(nèi)容既有基礎(chǔ)理論，又盡
量跟蹤最近兩三年內(nèi)公眾關(guān)心的熱點(diǎn)與新技術(shù)。教材
內(nèi)容基本能覆蓋計(jì)算機(jī)、通信這兩個(gè)專業(yè)常用的技術(shù)
詞匯、詞組及常見的科技語(yǔ)法。
教材的編寫對(duì)于所選專題除正文外，還列出了較
多的關(guān)鍵字、注釋、習(xí)題及部分參考譯文。對(duì)于某些
較難的語(yǔ)法現(xiàn)象，除給出相應(yīng)的參考譯文外還對(duì)語(yǔ)法
