內(nèi)容概要

　　My Foreign Cousin　　I have two foreign cousins， both of whom live with my aunt far way in Britain. I had never seen them before one of them came to my home last March.　　It was a sunny day. I went home happily. When I opened the door， I was surprised to see a two-year-old foreign boy standing in front of me. And as he saw me， his big blue eyes opened widely.　　“Oh， who are you？” I said in English. Soon I knew that he was one of my cousins， Timmy. I introduced myself with simple words. Timmy smiled and nodded to me.Soon we got familiar with （熟悉） each other.　　Timmy was a handsome boy. He had grey hair. He was only three years old. And so he spoke baby English.　　Timmy liked watching TV. Sometimes I joined him.Most of the cartoons （動畫片） we saw were “Snow White”and “Peter Pan”. He liked them very much. So did I. He always asked me to tell him some stories， such as “Snow White”. I thought it must be the story he liked best. I told him the story over and over again. But each time I began like this， “Once upon a time...”， Timmy would look at me with great care.　　Sometimes Timmy was a naughty （淘氣的） boy. For example， at suppertime or dinnertime， he always made the rice fall to the ground （撒一地） and played with spoons（調(diào)羹） or forks （餐叉）. At that moment， his mother would warn him not to do so. Timmy liked to eat ice cream （冰淇淋）. So when he was unwilling to （不情愿……） eat rice， we would tell him that he must finish rice first，or he wouldn’t get any more ice cream. Then we would see him eating rice rapidly. What a lovely baby！　　When it was time for bed， the thing that I must do was to kiss Timmy good night. Once，I forgot to say“good night” to him. As I went to bed， I saw him come in.“Good night，Jiajia，”he said. “ We forgot to say ‘good night’，didn’t we？”“Oh，good night，Timmy. See you tomorrow.” He kissed me and then went out. At that time，I realized how he loved me and what good manners he had！　　On March 29th， Timmy would go to Britain， where his home is. At the airport （機(jī)場）， I couldn’t keep back （阻擋） my tears and cried. As I watched the plane flying higher and higher above the city， how sad I was！　　“Cheer up （高興點兒）　Jiajia，”　my father said to me.“In a few years， Timmy will come to Shanghai again. And at that time， you’ll see a clever young man.”　　我的外國表弟　　我有兩個外國表弟，他倆和我舅媽都遠(yuǎn)居英國。在去年三月他們中的一個到我家來之前我從來沒見過他們。　　那是一個陽光明媚的日子。我高興地回到家。當(dāng)我打開房門，我吃驚地看到一個兩歲左右的外國小男孩站在我面前。而且當(dāng)他看見我時，他的一對藍(lán)眼睛睜大了?！　　班蓿闶钦l呀？”我用英語說。不久我就知道他是我的表弟之一，名叫梯米。我用簡單的語言作了自我介紹。梯米微笑著向我點頭。沒過多久我們就彼此熟悉了?！　√菝资且粋€漂亮的男孩。他長著一頭灰發(fā)，年齡還只有三歲。因此他講的是幼兒英語?！　√菝紫矚g看電視。有時我和他一起看。我們看的大多數(shù)是卡通片，有“白雪公主”和”彼特·潘”。他非常喜歡那些卡通，我也一樣。他經(jīng)常讓我給他講一些故事，例如“白雪公主”。我想這一定是他最喜歡的故事。我一遍又一遍地給講這個故事，但是每次我這樣開始講：“從前……”，梯米總會很專注地看著我。　　有時梯米是一個淘氣的男孩子。比如，在吃晚餐或正餐時，他總是把米飯弄到地上，一邊玩著調(diào)羹或者叉子。在那種時刻，他媽媽就會警告他不要那樣做。梯米喜歡吃冰淇淋。所以當(dāng)他不愿意吃米飯時，我們就會告訴他必須先吃完米飯，否則一點冰淇淋都不給他吃。接著我們就看到他迅速地吃起米飯。他是一個多么可愛的孩子呀！　　到上床睡覺的時候，我必須做的一件事情就是吻梯米并道晚安。有一次，我忘記了給他道晚安。當(dāng)我上床時，我看見他走進(jìn)來說：“佳佳，晚安！我們忘了道‘晚安’了，不是嗎？”“噢，晚安，梯米，明天見?！彼H了我一下然后就走出去了。那時我才意識到他有多愛我，而且他多有禮貌呀！　　3月29日，梯米要回他在英國的家了。在機(jī)場我抑止不住我的眼淚哭了起來。目送著飛機(jī)在城市上空越飛越高，我感到多么悲傷呀！“佳佳，振作起來，”爸爸對我說，“再過幾年，梯米會再來上海的。到那時，你將看到一位年輕聰明的男子漢的?！薄　　?/pre>
