　　本書是根據(jù)《STCW
78／95公約》和中華人民共和國海事局頒布的《海船船員適任考試和評估大綱》的要求，依據(jù)《中華人民共和國海船水手、機工適任培訓、考試和發(fā)證管理辦法》中機工適任培訓綱要，由長江海事局組織編寫的。本書涵蓋了機工適任培訓綱要中有關機工業(yè)務的內容。編寫本書以實用、基礎理論夠用為度的原則精選內容，在保證理論的系統(tǒng)性和嚴謹性的同時更注重知識的實用。
　　本書可以作為值班水手培訓用書。
