前言

　　《中學英語課程標準》對基礎教育階段英語課程語言技巧、語言知識、情感態(tài)度、學習策略和文化意識等五個方面提出了相應的具體內容標準，其中對語言技能中的聽、說、讀、寫四個技能提出九個級別的目標要求；對語言知識中的語音、語法、詞匯、功能和話題提出二級、五級和八級的目標要求；對情感態(tài)度、學習策略和文化意識也提出了二級、五級和八級的目標要求?！　≌Z言技能是構成語言交際能力的重要組成部分。語言技能包括聽、說、讀、寫四個方面的技能以及這四種技能的綜合運用能力。聽和讀詩理解的技能，說和寫是表達的技能；這四種技能在語言學習和交際中相輔相成、相互促進。學生應通過大量的專項和綜合性語言實踐活動，形成綜合語言運用能力，為真實語言交際打基礎。因此，聽、說、讀、寫既是學習的內容，又是學習的手段。語言技能目標以學生在某個級別“能做什么”為主要內容，這不僅有利于調動學生的學習積極性，促進學生語言運用能力的提高，也有利于科學、合理地評價學生的學習成果。　　語言技能八級目標（高中）中對“聽”的要求如下：　　1.能識別不同語氣所表達的不同態(tài)度；　　2.能聽懂有關熟悉話題的討論和談話并記住要點；　　3.能抓住簡單語段中的觀點；　　4.能基本聽懂廣播、電視英語新聞的主題或大意；　　5.能聽懂委婉的建議、勸告等?！　　奥牎?，在語言技能中處于首位。那么，如何提高學生“聽”的能力？我們認為，應該以課程標準、教學大綱和考試大綱為依據(jù)，以達到某級聽力水平為目標。為此，我們策劃編寫了本書，以“靠綱不靠本”為原則，按照最新教學大綱、考試大綱和課程標準的要求編寫?！　∴笥谧髡咚瑫胁煌字幘凑堊x者不吝指正。
