《珠寶專業(yè)英語(yǔ)》是寶玉石及其鑒定、加工、商貿(mào)、文化等方面的專業(yè)英語(yǔ)教材。涵蓋了寶石學(xué)科各方面的內(nèi)容，包括寶石的概念與分類、寶石的光學(xué)性質(zhì)、寶石的力學(xué)性質(zhì)、寶石的鑒定儀器、寶石的合成、寶石的優(yōu)化處理、寶石包裹體、寶石的鑒定步驟、寶石的加工、部分珍貴寶石(鉆石、紅寶石與藍(lán)寶石、祖母綠、珍珠、翡翠)的寶石學(xué)特征和寶石商貿(mào)等內(nèi)容。全書共有16課，內(nèi)容相互獨(dú)立，每課包括珠寶銷售對(duì)話、專業(yè)詞匯訓(xùn)練、關(guān)鍵短句、短文、課文、詞匯表和練習(xí)題，寶石各論的幾課后還附有與課文內(nèi)容相關(guān)的閱讀材料。本教材參考英文書刊和專業(yè)網(wǎng)站編寫，內(nèi)容豐富、題材廣泛、語(yǔ)言流暢、文字活潑、圖文并茂，具有較強(qiáng)的可讀性。
