前言
本教材反映了我們對(duì)英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生、教師及專業(yè)新動(dòng)向的認(rèn)識(shí)。學(xué)生方面,隨著新課標(biāo)的普遍實(shí)施,中學(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)已經(jīng)對(duì)學(xué)生提出了較高的要求,而目前的一些教材起點(diǎn)較低.需要編寫新的教材與中學(xué)教材銜接。另外,隨著科技的發(fā)展和日益一體化的全球經(jīng)濟(jì),人們的生活方式不斷變化,學(xué)生所關(guān)注的問(wèn)題和觀念也在不斷更新,特別是其情感和認(rèn)知需要具有鮮明的時(shí)代特征,新的教材理應(yīng)關(guān)注其所關(guān)注的熱點(diǎn),適應(yīng)其求知需要。特別重要的是,他們是成熟的一代,不要把他們當(dāng)作高中四年級(jí)或五年級(jí)的學(xué)生看待?! 【陀⒄Z(yǔ)專業(yè)聽(tīng)力教師而言,許多學(xué)校安排聽(tīng)力教師并沒(méi)有考慮教師本身的專業(yè)背景。常見(jiàn)的做法是安排沒(méi)有接受過(guò)教學(xué)方法培訓(xùn)的新教師上聽(tīng)力課。這一做法的潛在理由是:聽(tīng)力課無(wú)非就是放放錄音,對(duì)對(duì)答案;只要學(xué)生有大量的練習(xí),聽(tīng)力水平的提高不在話下。通過(guò)大量練習(xí)提高學(xué)生的聽(tīng)力水平當(dāng)然有道理,但是聽(tīng)力課絕非放放錄音、對(duì)對(duì)答案那么簡(jiǎn)單。上好聽(tīng)力課,提高教學(xué)效率,讓學(xué)生加快進(jìn)步的步伐,里面還是有門道的。我們相信聽(tīng)力老師們都希望能有更好的教學(xué)方法和更合適的教材?! 〗陙?lái).英語(yǔ)專業(yè)界重新審視了大學(xué)英語(yǔ)專業(yè)的教學(xué)目標(biāo),強(qiáng)調(diào)人文素養(yǎng)的提高。我們認(rèn)為,這一目標(biāo)需要從大學(xué)一年級(jí)開(kāi)始貫徹,體現(xiàn)于所有的課程。對(duì)于聽(tīng)力教材而言.適當(dāng)?shù)卦黾佑⒄Z(yǔ)國(guó)家的文化背景就顯得尤為重要?! ”窘滩耐瑫r(shí)反映了我們對(duì)英語(yǔ)專業(yè)聽(tīng)力教學(xué)的認(rèn)識(shí)和經(jīng)驗(yàn)。這些認(rèn)識(shí)包括:聽(tīng)力教學(xué)不是反復(fù)的聽(tīng)力測(cè)驗(yàn),而是有目標(biāo)有針對(duì)性的訓(xùn)練;根據(jù)學(xué)生聽(tīng)力水平提高的一般路徑分階段組織教學(xué)任務(wù),各階段有不同重點(diǎn);針對(duì)學(xué)生的聽(tīng)力障礙進(jìn)行強(qiáng)化訓(xùn)練有助于大學(xué)新生迅速提高聽(tīng)力水平;學(xué)生在課堂教學(xué)中主要學(xué)習(xí)聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練的方法,通過(guò)大量的課外練習(xí)提高聽(tīng)力水平,等等。其中第一原則是滿足學(xué)生的需要,具體而言就是要了解他們?cè)诓煌A段中存在的主要障礙,有針對(duì)性地設(shè)計(jì)練習(xí),同時(shí)提供診斷性的反饋,幫助學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)。此外,聽(tīng)力是語(yǔ)言教學(xué)的一種手段,提高語(yǔ)言水平也是聽(tīng)力教學(xué)的目標(biāo)和任務(wù)之一。
內(nèi)容概要
《英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)力教程2(教師用書)》分為三個(gè)三單元,第一單元題材為人與社會(huì),突出背景知識(shí)對(duì)于聽(tīng)力的重要性;第二單元題材為熱點(diǎn)話題,重點(diǎn)訓(xùn)練利用圖式把握主要內(nèi)容的能力;第三單元題材為專業(yè)知識(shí),涉及政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、法律、哲學(xué)、宗教和文學(xué)等內(nèi)容,重點(diǎn)訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的篇章處理能力。每單元包含六課,每一課共有兩大部分,前一部分為課堂教學(xué)內(nèi)容,以笑話、小故事或歌曲開(kāi)頭;之后是一段難度較小的對(duì)話或獨(dú)白;然后是難度較大的綜合訓(xùn)練材料。后一部分為課外訓(xùn)練內(nèi)容,提供專項(xiàng)訓(xùn)練,題材為故事連載或講座。

Communities around the world are always changing. Some communities change by growing. This bustling town near Sacramento, California was once only fields, home to the Maidu Indians. Then Americans started to explore the west, and in 1848, gold was discovered near here. For many years, people seeking their fortune settled here. People from many different backgrounds, like Mormons, African Americans, and Chinese men mined in this area for many years. And the community grew. However, when the gold was gone, many of these people moved on, and the town almost disappeared. But when the railroad was built into town, people came and the centre of business with shops, hotels, and even the pony express developed. During this time, people from all over the world moved here. A prison was built; a power house was built to supply electricity to the community; and more gold was discovered. This little town kept growing and changing slowly for many years. Then, not long ago, people started building bigger companies hero, and more people moved to the community. Today, houses cover the land that used to be home to small mining settlements. Large street malls, parks, and schools sit on the same ground used by the Maidu Indians not two hundred years ago. This community has changed and become very different over time. People came here for many reasons : to search for gold, to set up businesses in the new town, or to find work in a growing community.
