內(nèi)容概要

　　《新世紀大學(xué)英語泛讀2》是參照《大學(xué)英語教學(xué)大綱》（修訂本）編寫的一套供大學(xué)英語基礎(chǔ)階段1-4級學(xué)習(xí)的閱讀教材，它與新世紀大學(xué)英語快速閱讀、聽力等配合使用，主要是在閱讀的量上提供一個語言輸入的源泉。本教程在結(jié)構(gòu)上采用了詞匯注解、導(dǎo)言、課文正文、語言難點注釋、相關(guān)文化背景注釋、理解練習(xí)和翻譯練習(xí)等形式。在題材方面特別注意選取大學(xué)生們所喜愛的主題，如西方文化、愛情與友誼等，且貫穿1-4冊，并涵蓋了英語語言、教育、科技、體育與健康、工商管理、環(huán)境保護、音樂、計算機與網(wǎng)絡(luò)等廣泛領(lǐng)域。在體裁方面注重各種體裁的兼顧，包括敘事、議論、抒情、說明以及經(jīng)典小說與散文等文體?！　　缎率兰o大學(xué)英語泛讀2》的大部分文章選自近年原版的英語讀物以及英文報紙、雜志等，語言純正，原汁原味。
