內(nèi)容概要

　　《新編綜合英語》5～8冊供英語專業(yè)高年級使用。每冊12個單元，每個單元同樣由兩篇課文組成，處理方法與前4冊大同小異。各大板塊以-ing結(jié)尾的詞命名，如圖示建構(gòu)(Schema
Building)、篇章理解(Text Understanding)、信息檢索(In—formation
Surfing)、語言構(gòu)建(Language
Building)等?！皥D示建構(gòu)”與前4冊中的“準(zhǔn)備”活動功能相似；“信息檢索”是讓學(xué)生查閱信息，鍛煉查找資料、獲取和篩選信息的能力；課文的理解和語言學(xué)習(xí)活動主要集中在“篇章理解”和“語言建構(gòu)”部分，包括詞匯、語法、修辭、篇章分析等活動，同時兼顧“說”、“寫”技能。此外，5～8冊還設(shè)有補充閱讀(Extras
for Further
Reading)，提供主要閱讀書目、網(wǎng)址等，為學(xué)生自學(xué)和研究提供幫助。高級階段4冊的最大特色是辟有“教師意識”專欄，針對師范院校和其他高校師范方向的學(xué)生以及綜合性大學(xué)和理工科大學(xué)英語專業(yè)有志從事教師工作的學(xué)生的需要，每個單元(少數(shù)為兩個單元)圍繞一個教師職業(yè)知識點或技能，諸如如何提問、如何設(shè)計完形填空題、如何設(shè)置任務(wù)、如何反饋意見等，介紹相關(guān)理論并設(shè)計活動，讓學(xué)生在掌握概念的基礎(chǔ)上通過完成活動逐步積累師范知識技能，培養(yǎng)教師職業(yè)意識和能力。
