作者簡介

Michael McCarthy 英國諾丁漢大學應用語言學榮休教授，致力于英語口語分析研究，對劍橋國際語料庫的開發(fā)做出了巨大貢獻。目前任美國賓夕法尼亞大學和愛爾蘭利默里克大學應用語言學兼職教授。McCarthy教授是當代英語教學界的大師，在詞匯教學、教材設計、字典編纂以及口語研究等領域都頗有建樹。他的多部外語教學專著頗受教師青睞，其中包括 Spoken Language and Applied Linguistics，以及他與人合著的Vocabulary in Use系列。
　　Jeanne McCarten 有多國英語教學經(jīng)驗，曾在英國、瑞典、法國、馬來西亞等國任教；具有多年的英語教材出版經(jīng)驗，專注于語法和詞匯教材出版領域。她對劍橋國際語料庫英語口語部分的開發(fā)有卓越貢獻。
