內(nèi)容概要

初版《英語聽力入門》（Step by Step，下稱《聽力入門》）在走過十五個春秋之后，正式向大家告別了。    《聽力入門2000》共分為四冊，供大專院校英語專業(yè)聽力課使用，也可供具有較高水平的其他專業(yè)的研究生、本科生和科技人員等廣大英語學(xué)習(xí)者選用。    《聽力入門2000》是《聽力入門》的延伸。它仍遵循內(nèi)容與聽力技巧并重的原則，注重選材料的語言真實(shí)度和典型性，把重點(diǎn)始終放在發(fā)展學(xué)生的聽力理解能力和思維能力等方面。    《聽力入門2000》更是《聽力入門》的超越。它采用全新的聽力素材，且更注意四冊教材中主題布局的整體性。    本書共為四冊，共十二個單元。每個單元的篇章結(jié)構(gòu)和意圖與前三冊基本一致。但內(nèi)容的取材原則體現(xiàn)不同的重點(diǎn)：第一冊注重勾畫當(dāng)代社會中的一些宏觀變化和時代特征；第二冊的內(nèi)容主要圍繞學(xué)生自身在專業(yè)、情操與體魄等方面的健康成長而展開；第三冊又將學(xué)生的注意力引向世界，編入了有關(guān)國際政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、科技和交通等諸多領(lǐng)域的要聞報道和成果介紹；而第四冊作為整套教材的最后一冊，將聽力內(nèi)容的重點(diǎn)最終落到了社會、教育、工作和家庭等實(shí)際方面，旨在引導(dǎo)學(xué)生正視未來，并對客觀和主觀世界做一些思考。
