內(nèi)容概要

　　本書根據(jù)我國近年來研究生英語教學(xué)，特別是工科院校學(xué)生的實際情況而編寫，以期幫助學(xué)生提高英語閱讀水平，開拓知識視野，培養(yǎng)深厚的人文知識底蘊。全書共l8課，每課包括兩篇文章：Text
A和Text
B，主題緊密關(guān)聯(lián)，文章體裁豐富，角度多樣，有助于學(xué)生掌握英語閱讀技能。每課后都配有針對性強、生動有趣的多樣化練習(xí)：Text
A后的練習(xí)包括閱讀理解、翻譯訓(xùn)練和話題討論：Text B后設(shè)置了閱讀理解練習(xí)。

　　So much so that we begin to lose ourselves.　　Let's go back to who we used to be. Carefree of norms and happy forsimply living a life our own.　　6. You aren't stuck in any situation.　　Whenever I'd lose a friend, get an awful grade, or disappoint my parents, I stewed in my own muck. Waiting for the bad moments to go away seemed to be the only solution.
