新編英美文化視聽教程

內(nèi)容概要

　　華中科技大學外國語學院編著的《新編英美文化視聽教程》分為兩部分，共10個單元。第一部分介紹背景知識，共5個單元，主要包括英美兩國社會與文化概貌，如歷史、教育和文化傳統(tǒng)等方面的基本知識。第二部分介紹文化習俗，共5個單元，主要介紹英美兩國的價值觀以及生活方式，包括衣食住行、休閑娛樂、公眾傳媒及解決問題的方式等，側(cè)重體現(xiàn)不同的文化習俗。每單元包括4個部分，Part A為文化焦點精讀，課文前有背景知識介紹，課文后設(shè)計了閱讀理解和詞匯練習等；PartB為視聽活動，用來幫助學生更直觀地理解本單元所覆蓋的內(nèi)容；Part C為補充閱讀，用來擴大閱讀量，訓練學生閱讀的熟練程度；Part D為綜合信息，用以擴大學生的知識面?！　　缎戮幱⒚牢幕暵牻坛獭泛w了文化的不同層面，具有涉及面廣、信息量大的特點。選材內(nèi)容豐富、語言規(guī)范，同時由于利用多媒體教學將視、聽、讀、寫多項技能有機結(jié)合，使得本書具有很強的趣味性和實用性，對目前大專院校本科生、研究生以及廣大英語愛好者英語整體水平的提高以及跨文化交際能力的培養(yǎng)頗有裨益。
