為進(jìn)一步推進(jìn)醫(yī)學(xué)基礎(chǔ)化學(xué)理論教學(xué)的改革和發(fā)展，逐漸與國(guó)際接軌，以適應(yīng)將來(lái)國(guó)際交流的需要，本書(shū)根據(jù)國(guó)家教育部有關(guān)醫(yī)藥院校和生命科學(xué)相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè)基礎(chǔ)化學(xué)、無(wú)機(jī)化學(xué)和分析化學(xué)的教學(xué)規(guī)劃，結(jié)合編者多年基礎(chǔ)化學(xué)教學(xué)改革、雙語(yǔ)教學(xué)實(shí)踐，以及醫(yī)藥專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)生時(shí)間緊、課程多的特點(diǎn)編寫(xiě)而成。    本書(shū)是與馮清和劉紹乾主編的《Basic Chemistry》配套的學(xué)習(xí)指導(dǎo)書(shū)，其章節(jié)編排順序與教材相同，可供醫(yī)學(xué)、生物學(xué)及藥學(xué)全英語(yǔ)和雙語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)學(xué)生使用，也可供教師教學(xué)參考。本書(shū)由Performance Goals、Overview of the Chapter、Solutions to Problems、Self-help Test、Answers for Self-help Test、自測(cè)題、自測(cè)題參考答案等七部分組成。主要特點(diǎn)如下。     1．本書(shū)自測(cè)題由中文和英文兩大部分構(gòu)成，通過(guò)靈活取舍分別供中文、全英文和雙語(yǔ)教學(xué)使用。    2．各章的目的要求和要點(diǎn)回顧根據(jù)大綱要求，簡(jiǎn)明扼要地闡明本章基本內(nèi)容、要點(diǎn)、重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn)及易混淆之處，清晰實(shí)用，力求使讀者一目了然，起到提綱挈領(lǐng)的作用。    3．習(xí)題解答特別注重解題思路，有助于學(xué)生掌握解題方法和技巧，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生科學(xué)的思維方法，啟發(fā)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)新思維。    4．自測(cè)題分為選擇題、填空題、判斷題、簡(jiǎn)答題和計(jì)算題等類(lèi)型。所選習(xí)題注重和醫(yī)學(xué)及生物學(xué)相結(jié)合，具有典型性、代表性、趣味性、實(shí)用性、啟發(fā)性和科學(xué)性，力求幫助讀者在掌握理論知識(shí)的同時(shí)，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行創(chuàng)新性學(xué)習(xí)，在科學(xué)思維方式上有所突破。
