中美交際風(fēng)格比較研究

內(nèi)容概要

本書從口語交際和語篇組織結(jié)構(gòu)兩個視角來比較中美文化的交際風(fēng)格，這兩個視角不僅與信息交流有關(guān)，而且與交際中的社會關(guān)系的處理有關(guān)。本書指出，間接式與直接式風(fēng)格在中美文化中分別占有主導(dǎo)地位，這種差異不僅體現(xiàn)在口語的交往方面，而且也體現(xiàn)在筆語的語篇組織結(jié)構(gòu)方面。這種相同或一致性表明，中美之間在交際風(fēng)格方面的差異絕不是偶然現(xiàn)象。這是中國人和美國人在日常交際，甚至在學(xué)術(shù)寫作中系統(tǒng)的和一貫的做法。本書的分析和探討證實了中國文化中的交際與語篇組織結(jié)構(gòu)對間接式風(fēng)格更為側(cè)重，而美國文化中的交際與語篇組織結(jié)構(gòu)對直接式風(fēng)格更為側(cè)重。盡管幾乎所有的文化在日常的交往與交際中都采用這兩種風(fēng)格，然而，側(cè)重程度因文化而異。為了分析和解釋兩國文化的交際與語篇組織結(jié)構(gòu)風(fēng)格的差異，書中提供了一個框架。
