內(nèi)容概要

《新概念英語青少版》4、5級以《新概念英語2》為藍(lán)本，根據(jù)青少年的心理和認(rèn)知特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行了改版，適合初中階段的學(xué)生使用。     本冊為《新概念英語青少版》4B學(xué)生用書，由24個(gè)單元組成，每個(gè)單元有兩課：第1課包括聽力理解(即主課文)和對話練習(xí)；第2課包括句型練習(xí)、關(guān)鍵句型、難點(diǎn)、寫作和閱讀。書后面還附贈一張MP3光盤(學(xué)生用盤)和一張動畫DVD光盤，供學(xué)生課后自學(xué)時(shí)使用。

作者簡介

亞歷山大(L.G.Alexander)，世界著名的英語教學(xué)權(quán)威，曾任歐洲現(xiàn)代語言教學(xué)委員會理事。其著作為交際教學(xué)法奠定基礎(chǔ)，其中一些如NCE和Follow Me己成經(jīng)典教材。

　　If you look at a penguin， you willsee immediately that it looks like a littleperson. It not only wears a white shirt anda black jacket， but it often has a smartyellow tie as well！ Perhaps because of this，many childrens stories have been writtenabout penguins， yet many of these storiescontain false information. For example， thepenguins in stories always live in the ArcticCircle. In real life， there are no penguinsin the northern half of the world， either inthe Arctic or anywhere else.　　There are twenty different kinds ofpenguin in the world， and they are all native to the southern hemisphere. Furthermore，penguins in stories live not only on land， but on snow and ice as well. In fact， most penguinslive neither on land nor on ice. They spend about seventy-five per cent of their lives at sea，and most penguins prefer open water with no ice. Only the Emperor Penguin swims in the icywaters of the southern Antarctic and lays its eggs in the winter. Most of the worlds penguinslive in the seas around New Zealand， South Africa and South America. They lay their eggs onquiet coasts and islands， where they feel safe from snakes and foxes.
