內(nèi)容概要

本教材以一個家庭在中國的生活為主線，強調(diào)語言與文化相結(jié)合，內(nèi)容充實、實用性強，在華日常生活中的衣食住行、風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣、旅游常識、景區(qū)介紹都包含其中，主持人大山風(fēng)趣幽默的語言也給節(jié)目增添了許多亮點。
本教材共十六課。每課正文分為以下六個主要部分：課文及英語譯文、生詞、重點詞語注釋、文化背景、語言點、句型與替換練習(xí)。

China for his humorous and accurate style．

插圖：Chinese DressThere are several common styles of Chinese dress that have made a comeback in recent years．Many of these have been modernized, while still retaining some of the traditional flavour．Today we heard about旗袍，often just called qipao in English，or sometimes known by the Cantonese word cheongsam．In Mandarin we would say長衫，long gown．This style of dress actually comes from the Manchu nationality.The rulers of the last dynasty,the Qing，were Manchus，SO nobility often wore Manchu style clothing．The qipao is a one-piece dress with a high neck．It is usually fairly tight fitting，with a slit up one or both sides．Of course，there are many variations，but this is a very elegant，feminine gown．Another style we heard about today was the唐裝．It's a little like a中山裝，a Chinese tunic suit often referred to in English as a Mao suit．中山裝refers to Sun Yat-sen，in Chinese孫中山，who founded the Republic of China in 1911．In the West，this suit is perhaps called the Mao suit because it became the most popular form of dress after the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949．But the唐裝is slightly different．唐裝are usually made with silk and have traditional Chinese patterns．They are much more fancy and stylish than the plain中山裝．Again，there are many variations on this style．
