內容概要

　　數(shù)，或數(shù)字、是語言的一個重要組成部分。它不單單表示數(shù)學概念，在很多情況下，它是一種文化符號，折射出了一個民族多層面的文化特性，包括其政治，經濟、歷史、哲學、宗教、思維等方面?！　　稘h英數(shù)字文化內涵對比研究》以薩丕爾-沃爾夫的語言相對論為基本理論依據，又以最新對比語言學理論即異同并重的觀點為指導，富于哲學探索精神；二是基于大量語料，對漢英數(shù)字文化的內涵進行較為系統(tǒng)的研究，同時運用了語料庫方法，在這一領域還是一個創(chuàng)新；其三是宏觀與微觀相結合的方法，既從宏觀方面對數(shù)字與文化的關系作了總體比較與研究，又以中文之“一”與英語之“七”為突破口，重點解剖，取得了頗好的效果。這是一部頗為成功的研究著作。
