內(nèi)容概要

　　《新視野大學(xué)英語(yǔ)泛讀教程》分為1-4級(jí)，達(dá)到《課程要求》規(guī)定的一般要求層次的具體要求。
　　本書包括10個(gè)單元，供一個(gè)學(xué)期使用。每單元包括三篇文章(長(zhǎng)度控制在800-1000詞左右)，每篇文章均配有相關(guān)練習(xí)，具體有：
　　Passage A配套練習(xí)：Preview，Reading Skills，Reading and
Discussion。
　　Passage B配套練習(xí)：Preview，Reading Skills。
　　Passage C配套練習(xí)：Preview，Reading Skills，Translation。
　　Preview旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的預(yù)測(cè)能力。作為重要閱讀技巧之一，在仔細(xì)閱讀之前通過標(biāo)題、段首句等預(yù)測(cè)文章大意對(duì)理解文章大有裨益。
　　Reading
Skills是教材的主體練習(xí)模式，提供了詞匯層面和篇章層面的各種閱讀技巧，并將技巧訓(xùn)練融入每項(xiàng)閱讀任務(wù)中，使學(xué)生在關(guān)注“讀到了什么”的同時(shí)也學(xué)會(huì)了“怎么讀”。
　　Reading and
Discussion提供與文章相關(guān)的討論問題。Discussion為學(xué)生之間的交流和互動(dòng)創(chuàng)造了條件，有助于提升閱讀興趣和批判性思維能力。Translation旨在強(qiáng)化閱讀效果。翻譯是對(duì)閱讀理解的深層次考查，同時(shí)也有利于學(xué)生鞏固知識(shí)，活用語(yǔ)言。
　　本書在設(shè)計(jì)上并不要求學(xué)生完成全部的練習(xí)，而是為個(gè)性化學(xué)習(xí)提供了空間。教師可以根據(jù)分類要求和因材施教的原則，選擇某些練習(xí)由教師指導(dǎo)完成，某些練習(xí)由學(xué)生自主完成。學(xué)生可以根據(jù)教學(xué)安排進(jìn)行有計(jì)劃的自學(xué)，逐步提高閱讀技能。
