內(nèi)容概要

　　《語言學(xué)簡史》共九章，第一章為全書的導(dǎo)論，介紹了語言學(xué)史這門學(xué)科的對象、范圍和研究現(xiàn)狀；第二章至第九章分段講述語言學(xué)由古及今的發(fā)展史。《語言學(xué)簡史》是以歐洲傳統(tǒng)為綱寫成的，重在敘述西方語言學(xué)史，并強調(diào)這樣做“絕在敘述西方語言學(xué)的優(yōu)越性”要了解西方語言學(xué)史的概貌，靠《語言學(xué)簡史》大抵夠了，但要想了解中國語言學(xué)史。
