內容概要

　　《英語5（師范院校英語專業(yè)用）》教材以師范性為其特點，主要體現(xiàn)在以下兩個方面：（一）強調語言基本功的訓練。一位理想的英語教師必須具有全面、扎實的基本功，聽、說、讀、寫、譯任何一方面技能都不可偏廢；同時，他還要有堅實的理論知識，對語言現(xiàn)象，不僅“知其然”，還“知其所以然”。本教材強調學好最基本的東西，寧肯少些，但要好些，學得扎實些。（二）強調教師所應具備的能力的培養(yǎng)。一位英語教師不僅要有扎實的語言基本功，而且還必須懂得如何最有效地把自己的知識技能傳授給學生。所以，本教材特別注意培養(yǎng)學生進行語言教學的基本技能，如課文編選能力；詞匯、語法等練習的編寫能力；選擇語言重點的能力；糾誤能力；造句能力；改寫短文的能力；口頭講述故事的能力等等。
