內(nèi)容概要

本書結(jié)合作者近20年的研究心得，從哲學與文化的層次以及“操縱”、“謙和”與“藝術(shù)”的角度來深人探討華人的語言行為，旨在為讀者展現(xiàn)一個豐富多彩的華人語言行為的全貌。在跨文化交際學領(lǐng)域，對華人語言溝通的分析至今尚不夠深刻與全面，本書力求彌補這一缺失，一方面拋磚引玉，讓更多的讀者來思考華人的文化內(nèi)涵，并進一步探討華人的語言溝通行為；另一方面也為跨文化交際學學者提供一個嶄新的視角，使之重新思考東西文化二分法的偏見與局限。

作者簡介

張惠晶為美國伊利諾大學香檳城分校傳播學博士，現(xiàn)任伊利諾大學芝加哥分校榮譽學院常務(wù)副院長，以及傳播學系大學部主任及副教授，于1995—2001年間擔任傳播研究所所長，并經(jīng)美國首都大學法學院認證為調(diào)解人。主要研究方向為華人溝通行為與東西文化比較，并對西方研究提出批判。曾任中華傳播學會長，臺灣大學新聞研究所訪問學者(2003—2004)，香港浸會大學傳播學系訪問學者(2007)。學術(shù)研究論文刊載于各主要國際學術(shù)期刊與專書。其研究曾多次榮獲學術(shù)獎學金，以及各學術(shù)會議特定領(lǐng)域論文首獎。現(xiàn)擔任《亞太傳播研究季刊》等傳播學期刊編輯委員與評審，及國際學術(shù)會議論文審核人。
