視聽(tīng)說(shuō)教程4

前言

　　2004年1月，教育部頒布了《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)要求（試行）》，將大學(xué)英語(yǔ)的教學(xué)目標(biāo)確定為“培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)綜合應(yīng)用能力，特別是聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力，使他們?cè)诮窈蠊ぷ骱蜕鐣?huì)交往中能用英語(yǔ)有效地進(jìn)行口頭和書面的信息交流，同時(shí)增強(qiáng)其自主學(xué)習(xí)能力，提高綜合文化素養(yǎng)，以適應(yīng)我國(guó)社會(huì)發(fā)展和國(guó)際交流的需要”，提出了分層次（即“一般要求”、“較高要求”和“更高要求”）和分類指導(dǎo)的教學(xué)要求。與此同時(shí)，教育部在全國(guó)180所院校開展多媒體網(wǎng)絡(luò)教學(xué)的試點(diǎn)，推廣具有個(gè)性化學(xué)習(xí)特征的多媒體阿絡(luò)教學(xué)系統(tǒng)，并于2005年2月頒布了《全國(guó)大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四、六級(jí)考試改革方案（試行）》。2007年7月又下發(fā)了修訂后的《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)要求》。這些舉措進(jìn)一步推動(dòng)了我國(guó)高校大學(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)全方位的改革和教學(xué)質(zhì)量的全面提升。新世紀(jì)的教學(xué)改革呼喚新的教材不斷誕生。這既是時(shí)代的召喚，也是歷史的必然?！　≌窃谶@樣的時(shí)代背景下，上海外語(yǔ)教育出版社于2004年初組織全國(guó)數(shù)十所高校啟動(dòng)了“新世紀(jì)大學(xué)英語(yǔ)系列教材”建設(shè)項(xiàng)目。項(xiàng)目開始之初，外教社以書面問(wèn)卷、個(gè)別訪談和集體座談等形式在全國(guó)數(shù)十所高校中進(jìn)行了廣泛的調(diào)查研究，并請(qǐng)專家對(duì)編寫方案進(jìn)行了多次論證。在上海外語(yǔ)教育出版社莊智象社長(zhǎng)的直接領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和籌劃下，經(jīng)過(guò)三年多的努力，我們編寫了這套“新世紀(jì)大學(xué)英語(yǔ)系列教材”，力圖為新世紀(jì)形勢(shì)下的我國(guó)大學(xué)英語(yǔ)教材建設(shè)作出新的嘗試和努力。經(jīng)教育部認(rèn)定，這套教材已被列入“普通高等教育‘十一五’國(guó)家級(jí)規(guī)劃教材”?！　≡诰帉戇^(guò)程中，我們力求體現(xiàn)以下一些編寫理念和特色：　?。ㄒ唬﹫?jiān)持人本主義教育觀。在確立“新世紀(jì)大學(xué)英語(yǔ)系列教材”的指導(dǎo)思想時(shí)，我們強(qiáng)調(diào)教學(xué)過(guò)程中的人的因素，強(qiáng)調(diào)“以學(xué)生為中心”，重視開發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)者的自我潛能，注重“情感”和“態(tài)度”在學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)中的作用和力量，力圖使學(xué)生成為“自我實(shí)現(xiàn)者”。與此同時(shí)，我們認(rèn)為，教師必須在課堂內(nèi)外發(fā)揮指導(dǎo)作用，指導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)?！　。ǘ┳鹬赝庹Z(yǔ)教學(xué)的普遍規(guī)律和在國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的客觀條件，充分考慮“人”、“語(yǔ)言”和“社會(huì)”之間存在的互為依存、互動(dòng)互促、密不可分的關(guān)系，開拓學(xué)習(xí)者的跨文化交際視野，讓學(xué)生置身于廣闊的社會(huì)文化情景之中，養(yǎng)成用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行思維的習(xí)慣，做到學(xué)有所思、思有所得、得有所用，從而不再感到英語(yǔ)是身外之物，實(shí)現(xiàn)英語(yǔ)綜合運(yùn)用能力和學(xué)習(xí)者人格、素質(zhì)的同步提升?！　。ㄈ┝⒆銍?guó)情，博采眾長(zhǎng)，充分吸收我國(guó)外語(yǔ)教學(xué)長(zhǎng)期積累下來(lái)的寶貴經(jīng)驗(yàn)和行之有效的教學(xué)方法，全面而辨證地審視國(guó)外盛行的教學(xué)理念，汲取其精髓和內(nèi)涵，兼收并蓄地注入我們的教學(xué)理念中，確保教材具有更好的系統(tǒng)性、科學(xué)性、完整性、針對(duì)性和實(shí)用性?！　。ㄋ模┤媛鋵?shí)《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)要求》提出的教學(xué)原則、教學(xué)內(nèi)容和所倡導(dǎo)的教學(xué)方法，確保“分層次教學(xué)”和“分類指導(dǎo)”的落實(shí)，讓不同地區(qū)、不同群體、不同層次乃至不同時(shí)期的學(xué)習(xí)者各盡其能、各取所需地選用學(xué)習(xí)資源。為此，系列教材的主干教程共分8冊(cè)，旨在實(shí)現(xiàn)“一般要求”（1-4冊(cè)）、“較高要求”（3-6冊(cè)）和“更高要求”（5-8冊(cè)）的學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)。不同類別的學(xué)?？筛鶕?jù)各自的情況從中選擇各自的教學(xué)起點(diǎn)。
