前言
自2001年第一版問世以來,《新世紀(jì)醫(yī)學(xué)英語教程--社會醫(yī)學(xué)》已印刷了六次,并被教育部推薦為大學(xué)外語類使用教材。此外,編者在本校使用此教材的過程中,為社會醫(yī)學(xué)英語課程建設(shè)做出了不懈的努力,該課程在2007年榮幸地入選復(fù)旦大學(xué)校精品課程體系?! ≡谶^去幾年課程建設(shè)的辛勤耕耘中,編者已考慮并著手修訂此教材,從而使之更加完善,更富有內(nèi)涵,更具有實(shí)用性。但是,其宗旨仍然不變,即將社會知識與語言知識融合為一體,充分體現(xiàn)大學(xué)英語學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)術(shù)性和語言學(xué)習(xí)的實(shí)用性。經(jīng)數(shù)年嘔心瀝血,編者成功打造了一個全新版?! ”窘滩挠墒畟€單元組成,在內(nèi)容上有很大程度的調(diào)整和充實(shí),選材更賦有針對性,即社會知識和語言知識兩者的合理兼顧,從而使本教材洋溢著主題教材的時(shí)代氣息,同時(shí)也提供了語言學(xué)習(xí)的豐富內(nèi)容?! ”窘滩脑隗w例上有其獨(dú)特的一面,課文處理融入了課堂互動交際法的設(shè)計(jì)。在每個單元前安排了課前任務(wù)(Assignments Before C1ass):1)要求指定的學(xué)生上網(wǎng)搜尋在課文A中出現(xiàn)的某些術(shù)語的定義,并準(zhǔn)備一分鐘獨(dú)特的口頭講解;2)要求指定的學(xué)生帶著問題閱讀課文A的相應(yīng)內(nèi)容,并以一種獨(dú)特的方式,準(zhǔn)備一分鐘的問題回答。這些課前準(zhǔn)備的任務(wù)將在課堂上由教師有序地、有機(jī)地融入到互動的教學(xué)活動中,旨在增強(qiáng)學(xué)生課堂學(xué)習(xí)的能動性?! ”窘滩恼n后練習(xí)(Follow-up Activities)的設(shè)計(jì)基于外語學(xué)習(xí)的客觀規(guī)律和教學(xué)理念,尤其是詞匯練習(xí)(Vocabulary Enlai gement&Reinforcement)和綜合練習(xí)(Integration),其設(shè)計(jì)充分體現(xiàn)了詞匯整塊習(xí)得和閱讀中應(yīng)用的教學(xué)理念?! ”窘滩目晒┙處煾鶕?jù)實(shí)際教學(xué)情況靈活使用,可按照一學(xué)期的規(guī)定課時(shí)(每周2學(xué)時(shí)/36學(xué)時(shí)或每周4學(xué)時(shí)/72學(xué)時(shí))而制定教學(xué)計(jì)劃,即可根據(jù)課時(shí)而在課堂上合理選用每單元的教學(xué)內(nèi)容。如有可能,同時(shí)也可結(jié)合自有的與主題相關(guān)的多媒體課件,這將有利于課程建設(shè)。
