內容概要

全書一共12章，幾乎涵蓋所有物流管理專業(yè)開設的基礎和主干課程。
如：運輸、倉儲、庫存、包裝、采購、物流信息、供應鏈管理、第三方物流、客戶服務和國際物流介紹等。本書每篇課文對重點詞匯均標注國際音標和釋義，對難句進行解釋，課后還有閱讀理解、詞匯使用和英漢互譯等練習。每篇課后還根據情況精選了補充閱讀資料，而且同樣給出了單詞的音標釋義和難句解釋，供師生閱讀，以加深對知識的理解。
本書作為高職高專物流管理專業(yè)的規(guī)劃教材之一，同時也可供本科物流管理專業(yè)的師生作為教材和參考用書，也可供各類物流專業(yè)人士參考使用。

　　《“十一五”高等院校物流管理專業(yè)規(guī)劃教材：物流專業(yè)英語》在內容選材安排上，基本遵從了傳統(tǒng)物流管理教材的課程框架，做到了循序漸進，由淺人深；對每個專業(yè)知識點都參閱了國內外大量的文獻和資料，來保證所選取內容的適當性。在編寫體例上，我們重點增加了練習，在每個章節(jié)的前面有“頭腦風暴”式的討論，以調動學生思考的主動性和課堂的參與性；在每篇課文后面增加了詞匯的音標和釋義，以及部分重要和難點句子的翻譯；在課后的練習中有閱讀理解、詞匯的英文釋義和英漢互譯等，以檢驗和鞏固學生學習的效果。另外，在每篇章的后面，還增加了一篇相關的閱讀材料，并且同樣有詞匯和難句解釋，來幫助讀者拓展知識的廣度。
