前言

　　伴隨著新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)英語教材的推廣，從教育部到各地教育局、教研室的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)都意識(shí)到提高英語教學(xué)質(zhì)量的關(guān)鍵是教師，各地教育行政部門都把教師培訓(xùn)作為工作重點(diǎn)來抓。而目前合適的培訓(xùn)教材短缺，國外已出版的培訓(xùn)教材都理所當(dāng)然地認(rèn)為老師們是進(jìn)行小班化教學(xué)，而且有豐富的資料可以利用，但實(shí)際情況正好相反?！　榻鉀Q這一狀況，我們從牛津大學(xué)出版社引進(jìn)了這套教師教學(xué)指導(dǎo)叢書。本套叢書從聽、說、讀、寫、文化、課堂用語等不同技能培訓(xùn)角度出發(fā)，各通過30課基礎(chǔ)級(jí)課程（每一課有教學(xué)法框架，包括非常具體的教學(xué)目標(biāo)、教學(xué)過程設(shè)計(jì)、學(xué)生活動(dòng)等），用清晰易懂的語言為渴望提高自己的教學(xué)技巧的教師提供了一個(gè)可操作的教學(xué)模式。無需采用高級(jí)的教學(xué)資源，覆蓋典型的話題和語言點(diǎn)，這些話題如問候、個(gè)人信息、家庭、身體部位、食品、顏色、數(shù)字、國家等，與主流教材的話題基本吻合；語言點(diǎn)也是典型的初級(jí)教程中都能找到的?！　∽钪匾氖潜咎讜鵀槟切┤鄙倥嘤?xùn)和幫助的教師們提供了一種教學(xué)框架。同時(shí)，我們希望并期待這些教師剛開始時(shí)可以嚴(yán)格地按照課文中的每一步去做，但隨著自信心的增強(qiáng)，他們能適應(yīng)并擴(kuò)充書中提供的方法，來滿足不同學(xué)生的要求。編者對(duì)講解性的語言采用中英對(duì)照的形式，而對(duì)所設(shè)計(jì)的活動(dòng)本身及例句、篇章保留原汁原味的英語?！　∠Ｍ咎讜軡M足廣大教師特別是缺乏培訓(xùn)和教學(xué)資源的教師需要。
