內(nèi)容概要

　　《永別了，武器》是海明威的半自傳體小說。歐內(nèi)斯特·米勒·海明威(1899—1961)是美國小說家，1899年7月21日出生于美國伊利諾伊州。中學畢業(yè)后在堪薩斯《星報》當記者，這對他日后的創(chuàng)作產(chǎn)生了深遠的影響。第一次世界大戰(zhàn)爆發(fā)后，海明威報名參戰(zhàn)，成為意大利救護隊的一名司機，但不幸身受重傷，作為意大利軍隊中第一個受傷并存活下來的美國人，海明威成為美國人民的戰(zhàn)爭英雄。

版權頁：When I came back to the front we still lived in that town. There were many more guns in the country around and the spring had come. The fields were green and there were small green shoots on the vines, the trees along the road had small leaves and a breeze came from the sea I saw the town with the hill and the old castle above it in a cud in the hills with the mountains beyond, brown mountains with a little green on their slopes. In the town there were more guns there were some new hospitals, you met British men and sometimes women, on the street, and a few more houses had been hit by shell fire It was warm and like the spring and I walked down the alleyway of trees, warmed from the sun on the wall, and found we still lived in the same house and that it all looked the same as when I had left it.
